here is the info for the Tsolum River Road Race on June 5, 2011.
Tsolum River Road Race, Comox Cup #2!
Come out and test yourself in the A/B/C categories over the rough roads around Tsolum River on the 10.4km loop. Registration opens at 10am.
The road race for all categories costs $15. $5 for Juniors
All races start at 11am!
There will be a required race briefing in the 10 minutes prior to that!
Distances:
A: 8 laps: 82.88km
B: 6 laps: 62.16km
C: 4 laps: 41.44km
Novice: 2 laps: 20.72km
Categories: A, B, C, and Novice
Race course will be posted in the pictures of the event!
Yellow line rule is in effect, No littering!
See everyone out there!
Prizes include products from Nestle, Saputo, and the usual assortment from bike shops
There will be a porta-potty onsite!
Directions for out of town-ers
From the inland island highway
turn right at Piercy road-5.8km
Turn right at Dove creek Road-1.0km
(you will go over a 1 lane bridge with traffic controlled light)
Turn left on headquarters-9.2km
Turn left to stay on headquarters-1.0km
Take right onto Tyee Valley Road for parking (there will be the CVCC club trailer and registration tents

2011 Comox Cup Race Bible
Hi Everyone
Sorry for the late posting but here is the 2011 comox cup race bible!
The first two races are definites (Dove Creek and Tsolum), the Omnium has yet to be decided due to no race directors stepping forward. You can be race director for one of the three events, you do not have to do all three! and the full mt washington HC in August is still being determined (scheduling conflicts with master races, and the Victoria Cycling League).
And some time later I will upload the 2011 Comox Cup point series to allow everyone to track their points that they accumulate.
If you find any mistakes in the Comox Cup Race Bible, send me an email. and I will clarify and correct the mistake. or just act confused.

MIVA Stage Race

For anyone interested in racing on May 21,22 there is a 4-event stage race in Nanaimo put on by the Mid Island Velo Association. There is a prologue, road race, time trial, and a criterium. More information can be found here http://bikeracing.ca/?page_id=348
