Ø  U17 and U19 race allowed feedzone after 50km but not 20km before the finish, Feedzone as indicated on map before the finish

Ø  Race number to be vertical on the right side of the back

Ø  No parking within 200 metres of the finish line

WHAT:                       Time based stage race consisting of the Dove Creek Road Race in the morning and the Burns Road Time Trial in the afternoon.

                                                $30 for Seniors (over 18)

$20 for Juniors

Ø  1 minute intervals

Ø  8.06km in length

Ø  no aero clip-on bars, no aero helmets, no disc wheels, no wheels deeper than 90mm, no TT bikes

Overall

Ø  Determined by overall time

Ø  Cash prizes except merchandise for the Youth categories

Ø  Women’s prizes where sufficient numbers

Notes

Ø  All courses are on open roads!

Ø  The yellow line rule is in effect at all times!

Ø  No littering, offenders will be disqualified!

Ø  Bathrooms are provided at the Dove Creek Hall

Ø  There are no feed zones for the road race

Ø  No parking on any of the courses during the race

Ø  Do not pre-ride the Time Trial course when others are racing on the course

Registration Opens at 10am, Race starts at 11am.
Categories: A/B/C/U15/U13
Distances: A: 8 laps: 82.88km, B: 6 laps: 62.16km, C: 4 laps: 41.44km, U15: 3 laps: 31km, U13: 2 laps: 20.7km
Cost: $20 adult, $10 juniors
No bathroom at event!
Cash prizes for A/B/C categories.  Merchandise prizes for U15/U13.
Cycling BC Race license mandatory, 1 day race license available at registration

The Course

Start/Finish line at Tyee Valley Rd/Headquarters Rd
Yellow line rule in effect at all times, no littering, no foul language, no parking on course

Directions:
From the Inland Island Highway travelling north
Turn right at Piercy Road-5.8km
Turn right at Dove Creek Road-1.0km
(you will go over a 1 lane bridge with traffic controlled light)
Turn left on Headquarters Road-9.2km
Turn left to stay on Headquarters-1.0km
Take right onto Tyee Valley Road for parking .  The CVCC club trailer and registration tent will be visible.

The 2014 Time Trial Series sponsored by Trail Bicycles will once again be held Thursday nights from April 17 through to July 24.
